Tingog inaugurates 2nd Center in Bohol

SIERRA BULLONES, Bohol – Tingog Party-list, in partnership with the Office of the Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, inaugurated an Alagang Tingog Center (ATC) near the Municipal Hall of the municipality of Sierra Bullones on August 12, 2023.

The event marked a significant achievement within Tingog Party-list l’s flagship initiative, Alagang Tingog, which aims to directly provide the Marcos government programs and services to the people.

This milestone was achieved through the collaborative efforts of Hon. Kristine Alexie Besas-Tutor, the Representative of the 3rd District of Bohol.

The core vision of Alagang Tingog is to establish accessible platforms that remove barriers and simplify administrative processes, ensuring that essential services are easily accessible by less privileged.

By decentralizing services through ATCs, this initiative aims to bridge the gap between marginalized communities and the government, creating a positive impact on those in need.

Notable figures, led by Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre, Besas-Tutor of the 3rd District of Bohol, Undersecretary Terence Calatrava of the Office of the Presidential Assistance in the Visayas (OPAV), Mayor Michael Doria, Vice Mayor Dodie Maestrado, SB Officials Patrick Unajan, Gia Bungabong, Sim Maestrado, Ariel Jabay, Jopre Buslon, Alfredo Gamalo, Arniel Ilandag and Antonio Muñoz, ABC President Domingo Buslon, SK Federation President Elmer Magalona, and punong barangays graced the event.

In addition to the ATC inauguration, the collaboration between the Offices of the Speaker and Tingog Party-list in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under Sec. Rex Gatchalian, led to an offsite payout at the municipal gym.

The event offered financial assistance of P5,000 each to 1,000 families in Sierra Bullones, addressing their daily needs and highlighting the commitment of Speaker Romualdez and Tingog Party-list to serve vulnerable Filipinos.

The occasion extended beyond financial assistance, encompassing an array of raffle rewards including grocery packages, appliances, bicycles and a motorcycle as grand prize.

Entertainer Wacky Kiray infused humor and artistry, while local dancers and a drum and lyre ensemble contributed to the vibrant celebratory ambiance.

Mayor Michael Doria expressed gratitude for Tingog Party-list support to the citizens of Sierra Bullones.

Governor Aris Aumentado also expressed his gratitude to Tingog Partylalist Reps. Yedda Marie Romualdez and Jude Acidre, as well as to Speaker Romualdez “for giving importance to the district…

Besas-Tutor also emphasized that Sierra Bullones is the luckiest among the 19 municipalities of the district, not only for receiving financial assistance, but for having an ATC built therein.

“Sa tanan-tatan ang atuang gibutangan ang Sierra Bullones” (trans: Of all municipalities, the one that has been given is Sierra Bullones) the lawmaker said in local language.

Acidre emphasized Tingog’s commendable achievement of creating partnership with other representatives all around the country by establishing nearly 100 ATCs now.

Rep. Romualdez concurred Tutor’s statement, emphasizing the additional support that the people of the 3rd District of Bohol through the newly-erected ATC. Such a milestone manifests Tingog’s identity as a “working party-list.”

Rep. Romualdez said that the Alagang Tingog Program is part of Speaker Romualdez’ aspiration to deliver government services directly to the people.

The establishment of ATCs nationwide and the consistent delivery of government agency programs and services through the Alagang Tingog Program reflect the Speaker’s Office and Tingog Party-list’s commitment to uplift and improve people’s lives, further solidifying Tingog Party-list’s leadership and effectiveness among party-list’s in the country.
