Matapos tumanggap ng iba’t ibang international recognition dahil sa kanyang pagganap sa pelikulang “Triangle of Sadness,” isa na ngayong official member ng Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) si Dolly de Leon.

Ayon sa inilabas na press statement ng Aca website last June 28, isa si Dolly sa 398 artists and executives na naimbitahang maging miyembro ng organisasyong nagpo-produce ng Oscars.

Ilan sa makakasama ni Dolly ay ang mga sikat na Holywood actor na sina Austin Butler, Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Paul Mescal, Selma Blair, Bill Hader at marami pang iba.

“The Academy is proud to welcome these artists and professionals into our membership. They represent extraordinary global talent across cinematic disciplines and have made a vital impact on the arts and sciences of motion pictures and on movie fans worldwide,” pahayag ni Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang sa press release.

Kinumpima na rin ni Dolly ang magandang balita sa kanyang Twitter account.

She replied “intense” sa isang journalist na bumati sa kanya.
