JOSE Rizal University’s Emie Fernandez bested six other participants to capture the women’s division standard poomsae gold medal in the online NCAA Season 96 yesterday.

A product of Manggahan High School in Pasig, Fernandez tallied 7.550 points to beat College of Saint Benilde’s Diane Nicole Supangan, who settled for silver with 7.284 and San Beda’s Lara Alejandrea Andres, who recorded 6.867 for the bronze.

Action continues today with the Standard Juniors at 2:45 p.m., while the Freesytle event will cap the four-day online poomsae competitions at the same time.
