71-year-old PWD stabs relative dead
CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur – Despite his old age and physical condition, a 71-year-old person with disability (PWD) allegedly stabbed dead Thursday his own relative in Bgy. Amguid, Candon City.
Police immediately arrested the suspect identified as Felimon Galutan of Bgy. Amguid.
The victim was identified by the police as Antonio Galutan, 53, farmer, also of the said barangay.
According to the report, a team from Candon City police responded to a call at said place after a citizen reported the incident.
When the police arrived, they saw the victim already lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds.
However, the suspect was still sitting beside the victim prompting the PNP to arrest the suspect.
They rushed the victim to Candon City Hospital for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival by his attending physician.
Police gathered from the statement of a certain Eduardo Uduyan of the said place that he heard someone shouting at the house of the suspect.
Uduyan went to the said house and saw the victim lying with stab wounds while the suspect was sitting beside the victim.
