6 women rescued from Bataan sex den
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – SIX women were rescued on Friday while a woman pimp was arrested in a raid at a sex den in Bataan.
Col. Norberto Delmas, Region 3 CIDG chief, said in the raid conducted by members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Bataan and the Orion police the sex den owner and pimp was identified as Gina Causing, 44, a businesswoman and resident of Sitio Aliok, Bgy. Daan Pare, Orion, Bataan.
It was found out that the sari-sari store owned by Causing is being used as front for prostitution after the police raided the establishment based on a complaint for violation of minimum health protocols, considering that Bataan was placed under modified enhanced community quarantine.
Delmas said the rescued women were turned over to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development of Orani while the suspect will be charged with violation of the Anti-Human Trafficking in Persons Act, or Republic Act (RA) 9208 as amended by RA 10364.
