6 held in Bacoor buy-bust ops.
BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Six individuals were apprehended by operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Cavite and Cavite Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) in a “buy-bust” operation in Barangay Queens Row East, Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
Operatives identified the arrested drug suspects are Christian Abad alias “Aba” 30; Maverick Samonte; Jethro Trigueros 21; Vergilio Trigueros Jr., 27; Jomari Guillera 23, and Sonny Boy Singco, 49.
Confiscated from the arrested drug suspects are 8 pcs. in total of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; 4pcs. of aluminum foil strip; 2 pcs. aluminum foil used as an improvised needle; 2 pcs. aluminum foil used as improvised tooter; 3 pcs. lighter; 1 mobile phone; 2 pcs. genuine 100-peso bills and 15 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P103,500.00
The detainees are now undergoing inquest proceedings and are facing charges of illegal possession of illegal drugs under Secs. 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15 Art. II of RA 9165.
Authorities from Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) and Bacoor City Police also collaborated in the said operation.
