500K doses of Sinovac vaccine here tonight
THE fourth batch of Sinovac vaccines composed of 500,000 doses purchased by the Department of Health are set to arrive from China.
Cebu Pacific flight 5J 671carrying the vaccines will touch down at the runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 7:45 tonight.
The government has now a total of 2.5 million doses of Sinovac vaccines purchased by the government with the arrival of the 500 thousand which is part of the 25 million doses ordered by the DOH.
BOC-NAIA said that this is the 8th COVID-19 vaccines they processed through advance documents presented by the DOH and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to One Stop Shop of the Bureau of Customs.
Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., testing czar Vivencio Dizon, DoH Usec Ma. Carolina Vidal-Taino, DOH Director Ariel Valencia, MIAA officials and other government officials are expected to witness the arrival of the 500,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines. By Willy M. Balasa
