4 nabbed in raid on CamSur cybersex den

FOUR suspected operators were nabbed in an alleged cybersex den catering to foreign and local pedophiles, Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5) director, Brigadier General Jonnel C. Estomo said.

Six girls and eight boys were rescued during the raid on a house in Zone 5, Barangay San Antonio in Bombon municipality conducted by Bicol police on the basis of a Warrant to Search, Seize and Examine Computer Data (WSSECD) issued by Judge Pablo Formaran III of the Naga City Regional Trial Court Branch 21, said Estomo.

Estomo the suspects, identified only thru their aliases ‘Jocelyn,’ ‘Mamasang,’ ‘Quel’ and ‘Garda,’ were arrested during simultaneous raids 10 a.m. Friday.

Officers led by Lieutenant Colonels Lucrecio Rodrigueza Jr. and Nannie Precy Alcala conducted the operation amid complaints from local residents.

The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9208 or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2002 as amended by RA 10364 and RA 9775 or the Anti-Child Pornography Act in relation to RA 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

The suspects are being held at the Bombon police lock-p facility while the rescued victims were taken to the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office for documentation.
