30 Kadamay members withdraw support from CCP-NPA

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — In support of President Rodrigo Duterte’s “whole-of-nation approach” in ending local communist armed conflict, 30 Kalipunan ng Damayang Panlipunan or Kadamay members on Saturday withdrew their support and membership from the communist terrorist group.

Bulacan police director Col. Lawrence Cajipe said the San Jose Del Monte and San Rafael police stations facilitated the voluntary withdrawal of support of 30 “white area personalities” under Kadamay operating in the province of Bulacan at Eco Park, Bgy. Muzon, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

The rebel returnees were brought to the Ecopark, Bgy. Muzon, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan in the headquarters of the 301st MC, RMFB3, 1st Platoon for tactical interview.

Cajipe said the Central Luzon police together with the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) and other concerned agencies will remain committed to ensure law and order in the region.
