
3.8M more doses of COVID vax arrive
ANOTHER big shipment of COVID-19 vaccines composed of 3,866,970 doses procured by the government through the Asian Development Bank (ADB) arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in two separate flights yesterday.
A shipment of three million doses of China-made Sinovac vaccine procured by the government through ADB on a Philippine Airlines flight from Beijing arrived at the NAIA Terminal 2 around 6 pm. yesterday
The next shipment of another 866,970 doses of US-made Pfizer vaccine and government procured through ADB arrived at the NAIA Terminal 3 around 9:20 p.m. on an Air Hong Kong flight.
The two latest shipments were all pre-cleared by the One Stop Shop of the Bureau of Customs-NAIA a day before the actual arrival and transported to the cold storage facility guarded by the airport authorities.
