2 teeners held for throwing stones at passing vehicles along TPLEX
CUYAPO, Nueva Ecija — Police nabbed two teenagers who were allegedly caught pelting stones at vehicles passing the toll road along KM Post 158 of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) in this town on Monday night.
Town police head Lt. Col. Erwin V. Ferry said they immediately responded to the area in Bgy. Loob and nabbed Bryan Villeros, 18, and Ernesto Laguisma, 19, both farmers, of Purok 6, Bgy. Burgos, Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija.
Ferry said the operation was triggered by a complaint from Arman Hacla, 44, of Sto. Domingo II, Capas, Tarlac, a security officer of TPLEX.
He said the two suspects were accosted by Hacla and other TPLEX personnel after they were caught in the act of hurling stones at passing vehicles along TPLEX Km Post 158 at 10:20 p.m.
“Naaktuhan ang dalawang suspect habang nambabato ng sasakyan sa TPLEX. Sinadya po nila ang ginagawa nilang pagbato. Trip lang po nila,” said Ferry.
Charges for alarm and scandal were already filed against the arrested suspects before the provincial prosecutor’s office.
