2 QC drugs suspects fall
ANTI-narcotics agents seized 200 grams of shabu worth P1.35 million from two drug suspects who fell in an entrapment drive Sunday in Quezon City.
Arrested were Barry Bueno and Christina Basa, both 43 years old.
Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director, said the anti-narcotics officers from the Novaliches police Station 4 apprehended the suspects at their residence along ACF Road in Barangay San Bartolome at around 12:10 a.m.
Before they were arrested, Torre said Station 4 policemen got a tip from an informant about the suspects’ illegal activities.
Authorities initiated a drug bust wherein a policeman posing as a drug buyer negotiated a deal with the suspects for a pack of shabu in exchange for P44,000.
