TWO brothers were arrested by the Manila Police District-Station 14 during a buy- bust along Delpan Street in Binondo, Manila.
The two, identified as Erik and Aljun Jao, were nabbed at around 2:30 p.m. by operatives headed by PCapt. Gil John Lobaton, based on information regarding the duo’s illegal activities.
Confiscated from the arrested brothers were five sachets of shabu worth P47,600 and P500 marked money.
They were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 before the Manila Prosecutor’s Office.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old man wanted for murder was nabbed in Sta. Maria, Bulacan on Tuesday by the MPD, by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Wilhelma Joerge Wagan of the Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 111).
No bail was recommended for the provisional release of accused Rey Dongon, of Sta. Maria Bypass Road, Barangay Guyong, Bulacan.
P/ Major Rommel Anicete reported that Dongon was arrested at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday inside his home.
Anicete and P/ Capt. Alfredo Tan, chief of the MPD’s warrant and subpoena section, located the suspect based on a tip information and had him arrested.
