101 fined for violating curfew, not wearing masks, shields in San Pedro

SOME 101 health protocol violators were held and fined Friday evening in San Pedro City, Laguna.

Laguna Police Provincial Director PCol. Serafin Petalio II reported to Calabarzon Regional Director PBGen. Eliseo DC Cruz that the violators were either not wearing face shields nor face mask or were outside their homes during curfew hours.

Report showed that from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am that police of San Pedro police under the supervision of PLTCol. Danilo Mendoza, OIC, conducted the operation in Barangays San Antonio, Pacita and Landayan in San Pedro, Laguna.

A report said the offenders were courteously approached by apprehending officers.

After being informed of the provision, guidelines and related penalties of the said city ordinance, the offenders each received an Ordinance Violation Receipt (OVR) with a corresponding penalty or fine of P1,000 then booked for documentation.
