Woman’s world at TOPS

IT’S a woman’s world in the newest episode of the weekly “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) with badminton, netball and swimming as the topics of discussions.

Philippine badminton team coach Bianca Carlos, Philippine netball secretary-general Sea Ann Gallegos, head coach Angelina Fedillaga and player Eunice Japone and Dubai-based swimming champion Jaella Miche Mandoza will share the good news in their respective sports during the 10 a.m. public service program sponsored by the Philippine sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Carlos, who went undefeated in the women’s singles category in the UAAP for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2013-2017, will talk about her new role as coach of the national team and the country’s chances in the coming Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

Gallegos, Fedillaga and Japopne will give an update on netball, while Mendoza will share her experiences in international swimming.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members and friends in the sports community to join the 10 a.m. sports session sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

This is the 18th session for the year and first for the month of TOPS, which is composed of editors, columnists, reporters and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids and friends from different social media groups.

Veteran sportscaster Ernest Leo Hernandez is the moderator.
