CUYAPO, Nueva Ecija – A most wanted man, who skipped attending his court hearings, was arrested by the local police in Clark, Pampanga where he allegedly hid after a warrant was issued for his arrest in 2018.

Town police head Lt. Col. Erwin V. Ferry identified the arrested suspect as Philip Garcia, 59, laborer, of Bgy. San Juan, Cuyapo.

Intel-warrant operatives led by Lt. Genesis P. Dela Cruz, deputy police head, collared the suspect during manhunt Charlie operations conducted at Filinvest, Mimosa, Clark at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Ferry said Garcia has a pending arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, docketed under Criminal Case No. 4663-G which was issued by Branch 33, of the Guimba Regional Trial Court on June 16, 2018 with recommended bail at P210,000.

The suspect is listed as the top seven most wanted persons in the municipal level by the local police.

“Hindi po siya uma-attend ng hearings niya at doon po siya nagtago sa Clark,” Ferry said in a text message to the Journal Group.

He said the arrested suspect is now locked up in jail here.
