THE merry month of May continues as the “Usapang Sports on Air” by the Tabloids Organization in Philippine Sports (TOPS) focuses on basketball, paralympics, tennis and volleyball this Thursday.

The two-part special will start at 10 a.m. with the Pilipinas Vis-Min Cup chief operating officer Rocky Chan, Mandaue-KCS coach Mike Reyes and MVP Ping Exciminiano talking about the recently-concluded Visayas leg of the newest professional league in the country.

Chan will also talk about the coming Mindanao leg, which kicks off later this month.

The second half of the public service program sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and Games and Amusements Board (GAB) will feature Philippine Paralympic Committee secretary-general Walter Torres, University of Louisiana tennis star Angel Santiago and Spike and Serve Philippines, Inc. advocates Nicole Tiamzon and Sherilyn Sindayen.

TOPS president Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight is inviting all officers and members and friends in the sports community to join the weekly sports session shown on Facebook and YouTube.

This is the 19th session for the year and second for the month of TOPS, which is composed of editors, columnists, reporters and photographers of the country’s leading national tabloids and friends from different social media groups.

Veteran sportscaster Ernest Leo Hernandez is the moderator.
