Valenzuela unveils Disiplina Village Lingunan building
Plus other projects, daycares
VALENZUELA City Mayor Wes Gatchalian led the ribbon-cutting and unveiling of markers for the new multi-purpose building, livelihood association, and daycare centers at Disiplina Village Lingunan on Friday afternoon.
Prioritizing education and the community’s livelihood, the city government granted Disiplina Village Lingunan its new multi-purpose building, two-storey livelihood center equipped with new sewing machines, and two daycare centers donated by Fortune Net Group of Companies.
The Sewers Livelihood Center caters to the women of DV Lingunan, providing them a dignified and sustainable work inside Disiplina Village. On the other hand, the Daycare Centers 4 and 5 will give the children of Disiplina Village and Barangay Lingunan quality and accessible early education.
Also present during the inauguration were Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja, City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) head Dorothy Go-Evangelista, city council members, department heads and barangay officials.
Mayor Wes said the City Government of Valenzuela will continue to invest in building sustainable livelihood projects and vital facilities that will help the lives of every “Pamilyang Valenzuelano.”
