Tulfo remains Senate race frontrunner
WITH just two weeks left before the May 12 Senate polls, ACT-CIS Party-list Representative and Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas candidate Erwin Tulfo remains a frontrunner in the Senate race.
Tulfo posted a 100% awareness rating and a 61.2% voting preference score in the latest.
Tugon ng Masa survey conducted by OCTA Research from April 10 to 16, placing him at Rank 1-2.
He currently holds a 15.8-percentage-point lead over the next candidate to him.
“I am grateful to our fellow Filipinos for their continued support, especially with only two weeks left before election day. I have always assured our people during my campaign rounds that they will not regret the trust they have placed in me. I will repay it with even more hardworking and dedicated service in the Senate,” he added.
Tulfo’s strong performance is consistent across multiple surveys. Aside from OCTA, he is also among the top candidates in the latest polls released by WR Numero, Social Weather Stations, and Pulse Asia.
Adding to his momentum is the growing support from local officials.
Recently, Tulfo secured the endorsements of the vote-rich provinces of Pampanga and Pangasinan, along with strong backing from leaders in Quirino Province.
1,200 respondents across the country participated in the mentioned OCTA survey where they were asked to give 12 names of their preferred candidate for senator.
