Triker killed in Batangas

AN unidentified man was found lying on the tricycle while parked along the street in Bgy. Natatas, Tanauan City, Batangas Monday noon.

According to investigators PCpls. Alexis Alain T. Mendoza, Julius Andrew D. Dionisio, and Leo Arnie Leycano, at 12:15 a.m. on July 4, two Barangay Police Safety Officers (BPSO) of Bgy. Natatas went to the Tanauan City Police Station (CPS) and reported the incident to the duty probers, who were immediately dispatched to investigate.

Based on the statement of the two BPSOs, they heard a series of gunshots not far from their station in the Barangay village outpost.

They immediately rushed to where the gunshot came from, and upon arrival, they saw a Racal tricycle parked along the side of the road.

Upon inspecting, they saw the lifeless body of a man with a gunshot wound in the head.

Authorities responded to cordon the area, and the SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) team processed the crime scene.
