Trader shot dead in Nueva Ecija
A STORE owner yesterday was gunned down while his closing store in Bgy. Rajal Centro, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Ernesto, 50, a resident of Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija.
The Santa Rosa police said the victim was pulling down the roll up door of his store when suddenly the suspects on a motorcycle arrived and fired shots at him causing his instantaneous death.
Police are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area to identify the suspects and determine the motive for the killing.
