Trabaho Party-List climbs 19 notches in 2025 Stratbase-SWS survey
TRABAHO Party-List has climbed 19 notches in the Stratbase-SWS (Social Weather Stations) January 2025 pre-election survey.
In the latest survey, Trabaho ranked as the 36th preferred party-list among the 155 party-lists included in the initial ballot face template released by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), surpassing its 54-55 ranking last December 2024.
This after 1,800 registered voters nationwide were asked “if the elections were held today, whom would you most probably vote for party-list?”, through face-to-face interviews conducted from Jan. 17 to 20.
The improvement in the ranking of Trabaho came consistent with results highlighting the top priorities of voters, such as job opportunities, healthcare, education, and workers’ rights.
Known for advocating policies that promote job creation, better labor standards, and greater economic equality, Trabaho welcomed the survey results with an online statement reiterating its platforms.
Its key platforms include providing the working class Filipinos with meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable employment, economic, and social advancement opportunities, and empowering the working class Filipinos by providing access to programs and activities that foster skills development and professional growth and advancement.
During the January 17 Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo, Aklan, the group’s ambassador Melai Francisco-Cantiveros was seen onstage advocating for Trabaho’s platforms, and warmly welcomed by thousands of people.
The 2025 midterm elections will take place on May 12.
