BALILIHAN, BOHOL– THE Offices of Speaker and Tingog Party-list has inaugurated another Alagang Tingog Center (ATC) in the panorama of verdant hills, rugged mountains, and green fields of Balilihan, Bohol near the Balilihan Presidencia as part of the Partylist’s flagship program Alagang Tingog.

The new center is the 3rd ATC in the province and was opened in partnership with Rep. Edgar M. Chatto, the representative of the 1st District of Bohol and Balilihan Mayor Maria Pureza Chatto.

Alagang Tingog’s objective is to establish a platform that allows underprivileged individuals to access essential services without facing processing hurdles.

This initiative strives to eliminate bureaucratic complexities by decentralizing services and entrusting local management to ATCs.

Through this approach, the Alagang Tingog program aims to narrow the divide between the government and marginalized populations.

In addition to launching the ATC in Balilihan, the collaboration between the Office of the House Speaker and Tingog, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under Sec. Rex Gatchalian extended financial aid to residents of Balilihan at the Assemblyman Eladio I. Chatto Sports and Cultural Center in which more than 1,000 families were able to receive Php. 5,000 cash assistance.

“We want to thank you for choosing Balilihan where you will build your Alagang Tingog Center so that we have another congress representative” the Mayor said.

Governor Aris Aumentado congratulated the people of Balilihan because out of the municipalities in the district, the ATC was established in their residency.

As such, Governor Aumentado urged the people of Balilihan to continue supporting Tingog Party-list in the future.

Cong. Edgar Chatto thanked Rep. Yedda Romualdez for bringing Tingog in the 1st District of Bohol because this signifies more services to be delivered to the people.

The congressman further said, “Tingog Party-list is one of the serving party-list in Congress, but the only party-list with a satellite office here in Balilihan.

“Thank you very much for putting up a satellite office diri sa among distrito” the representative added.

Rep. Yedda Romualdez underlined that Tingog is the number 1 party-list to deliver the Marcos administration services.

She also emphasized that having a “serving” party-list in partnership with the district representative means a “doubled” aid and benefits for the people.

The congresswoman also thanked the residents for their warm welcome for her despite her first time in the province. “Daghang salamat” Rep. Romualdez repeatedly expressed.

The event transcended its initial purpose of providing financial aid and embraced a wide array of attractions.

In addition to monetary assistance, the event featured an enticing raffle with prizes ranging from essential grocery packages to household appliances and bicycles, culminating in an alluring grand prize – a motorcycle.

Adding to the festive spirit, comedian-artist Wacky Kiray delivered an entertaining performance that brought forth laughter and delight.

Speaker Romualdez and Tingog Party-list continue their unwavering dedication to assisting vulnerable Filipinos as part of their commitment to public service.
