
Tingloy Circumferential Road begins construction
BATANGAS – The long-delayed and much-anticipated Tingloy Circumferential Road will be placed in Tingloy town’s history after a recent groundbreaking ceremony led by local officials and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The construction of the road project in the island town of Tingloy will connect all the barangays and benefit local residents.
Batangas 2nd District Congresswoman Atty. Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro, together with DPWH Secretary Manny Bonoan, and Usec. Roberto Bernardo led the groundbreaking on February 24 witnessed by Tingloy officials and residents.
According to Luistro, the project aims to boost tourism and spur economic development in the municipality of Tingloy, a fifth-class municipality in the province of Batangas.
