Technician dies in Batangas road crash
A RIDER died on the spot after his motorcycle collided with a truck while traversing along the national road of Barangay San Isidro, Batangas City, Saturday night.
Batangas City Police Station Chief P/Lt. Col. Dwight F. Fonte, Jr. said the deceased as was a mechanical technician and a resident of Bgy. Bolbok, Batangas City.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim was driving a Yamaha Mio motorcycle and was traveling along the national road heading towards Bgy. Libjo, Batangas City, when he lost control, slid, then swerved, and accidentally collided with the oncoming truck.
The incident was reported at 10:20 p.m., police said.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead on the spot due to severe injuries he sustained and brought to San Fernando Funeral Service.
