Tanauan PNP informer shot dead
TWO unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects shot dead a police informer of Tanauan, Batangas PNP on Wednesday morning while the victim was driving his motorcycle on the way to Bgy. Bunggo, Calamba City, Laguna.
Calamba police chief, P/Lt. Col. Arnel Pagulayan, identified the fatality as Albert James Santillan, of legal age and a resident of Bgy. Bunggo, Calamba City.
Initial investigation showed the victim was shot repeatedly at close range at 12:05 a.m. He had just come from Bgy. Suplang, Tanauan City.
Calamba police are conducting a follow up investigation for the arrest of the suspects.
