Student graduates with highest honors get P10k cash reward in Caloocan
THE city government of Caloocan and the city Schools Division Office (SDO), welcomed the new batch of graduates for School Year 2023-2024 and granted honor students with P10,000 cash incentives.
Around 100 students from grade school to senior high school “With Highest Honors” distinction received P10,000 cash incentive from the city administration and are now referred to as Caloocan Exemplary Students.
City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan commended the graduates for their discipline and hard work, as well as the proud parents, teachers, and school staff who all exerted their best efforts to help the students earn their achievements.
“Nais ko kayong batiin lahat para sa inyong pagsisikap at dedikasyon na makamit ang inyong pangarap. Alam kong hindi naging madali ang inyong mga pinagdaanan kaya sana ay proud din kayo sa inyong nakamit,” Mayor Along said.
“Siyempre, alam ko rin na ipinagmamalaki kayo ng inyong mga magulang at guro. Sana ay hindi niyo makalimutan ang lahat ng itinuro nila at suklian ninyo ang kanilang pagmamahal sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na pagsisikap at pagiging mabuti sa kapwa,” he added.
Mayor Along likewise declared that his administration will continue to focus on programs geared towards the empowerment of the youth and further improvements to the education system of the city.
