STRENGTHENED PH-JAPAN TIES
SPEAKER Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez hands over to Hon. Natsuo Yamaguchi, Chief Representative of Japan’s Komeito Party (Member of the House of Councilors), a copy of Resolution No. 94, adopted by the House, seeking to strengthen the mutual cooperation between the Philippines and Japan through Philippines-Japan Parliamentarians’ Friendship Society and to designate the organization’s officers and members. Yamaguchi led a Japanese delegation in paying a courtesy call to Speaker Romualdez Thursday afternoon where they explored avenues to further strengthen and broaden the bilateral relations between the Philippines and Japan, particularly through better relations and engagements among the parliamentarians of the two countries.
