Star Magic at international acting school nagsanib-pwersa
PUMIRMA ng partnership contract ang Star magic at ang international acting school na Sightlines’ Actors Space noong October 16 sa Coffee Project, Will Tower.
Instrumental ang Star Magic workshops sa pagbuo ng maraming accomplished artists ngayon tulad nina Kathryn Bernardo, Kim Chiu, Belle Mariano, Charlie Dizon at Arjo Atayde, na pawang nagbigay ng international recognition sa bansa.
Bilang bahagi ng commitment ng Star Magic na palakasin ang opportunities para sa kanilang artists at aspiring talents, official nang katuwang ng talent management arm ang Sightlines’ Actors Space na kilala sa award-winning Meisner Core Program.
Ang Meisner technique ay nakafocus sa idea na ‘acting is the ability to behave absolutely truthfully under the imaginary circumstances.’ Ito ay sa pamamagitan ng emotional preparation, repetition exercises at improvisation.
Ang technique na ito ay kilalang ginagamit ng mga A-list Hollywood actors tulad nina Jack Nicholson, Tom Cruise, Sandra Bullock, Jim Carrey at Timothée Chalamet. Ilan sa mga Star Magic artists na nag-workshop ng Meisner Program sina Race Matias, Mutya Orquia, Harvey Bautista at JM de Guzman.
Dumalo sa nasabing contract signing sina Alecsx Lorica, founder at artistic director ng Sightlines, kasama ang operations director na si Marcel David. Present din ang partnerships director na si Mikel Godinez, business and community development director Dads Valencia at marketing director Isabelle Prado.
Present din ang head of finance ng Star Magic na si Ed Capulong at ang Star Magic head na si Direk Laurenti Dyogi.
“We’re looking forward to a long partnership… Timing siya to the time we are exploring as well. There are no coincidences,” pahayag ni Direk Lauren.
Dagdag niya: “We welcome everybody who would like to explore playing roles, being more creative, having fun, and wanting to be in the industry. Somehow, maybe this might be a doorway for you to get into the industry.”
Inanunsyo rin ang mga bagong courses na gagamit ng Meisner Technique sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng Star Magic worshop ngayong November.
