Speaker Romualdez spends long weekend working
INSTEAD of spending time with his family, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez spent his long weekend distributing a total of P500 million in aid and programs to the people of Isabela under the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) of President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos.
Speaker Romualdez was accompanied by Deputy Speaker Tonypet Albano, who is the representative of Isabela and other local officials of the province.
“Batid po namin na hindi madali sa inyo na humingi ng tulong sa pamahalaan sa Maynila, kaya kami na po ang nagpunta dito,” Speaker Romualdez told the residents.
Aside from the Cash Assistance at Rice Distribution (CARD), in coordination with Congress and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Romualdez also distributed TESDA at CHED scholarships.
The Congress leader also assured, “Hindi po ito ang huli kundi marami pang ayuda ang ibibigay ng inyong pamahalaan dahil hindi po kayo nakakalimutan”.
After giving aid to Isabela, Speaker Romualdez immediately returned to Manila to personally express his gratitude to all who attended the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian forum (APPF) held at the PICC.
