Based on the recent “Pulso ng Pasig” survey, reelectionist Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto’s rating from 68 percent is now down to 52 percent, which declined by at least 10 percent.

Two graft cases were filed by a Pasigeuno resident against Sotto before the Office of the Ombudsman, while a temporary restraining order against Pasig’s New City Hall projects was lodged before a Pasig City regional trial court.

Sotto’s closest rival, businesswoman Sara Discaya garnered a 45 percent rating from the non-commissioned survey, a philanthropist whose plan and vision is to make Pasig a “Smart City” and reach out to every community.

In the vice mayoral race, former vice mayor Iyo Bernardo allegedly received 80% support among respondents, outpacing incumbent Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, who received 20%. The survey’s margin of error is 1.33%.

A certain Alejandro Sanoy allegedly filed another petition with the Pasig Region Trial court last month, asking for a temporary restraining order against Sotto’s proposed P9.6-billion municipal hall project.

The majority of senior citizens and less fortunate families complained about the elimination of the “yellow” card, which was meant to allow Pasig residents to receive free medical examinations and medications.
