RPMD confers Outstanding Public Servant 2023 award on Speaker Romualdez, Tingog Rep. Yedda Romualdez

THE RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD Foundation Inc.) on Wednesday conferred on House Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and Tingog Partylist Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez the “Outstanding Public Servant Year 2023” award.

The board members of the independent and non-commissioned survey group, gave the awards to the Speaker and Rep. Romualdez during simple rites held at the Speaker’s Office in the House of Representatives.

“I am profoundly honored and deeply grateful to receive this recognition. It is not just a personal accolade but a testament to the collective efforts and dedication of everyone who has supported and worked alongside me in serving our nation,” said Speaker Romualdez, leader of the 300-plus strong House of Representatives.

“This award serves as a reminder of the responsibilities entrusted to me by the Filipino people, and it motivates me to continue striving for excellence in service.”

In giving the award to Speaker Romualdez, RPMD cited his “exemplary service and unwavering commitment to the public good,” reflected in the strong trust and approval rating he has received across various demographics.

“Under his astute leadership, the House of Representatives has witnessed significant strides in legislative efficiency and effectiveness. Speaker Romualdez’s robust political acumen and ability to navigate complex legislative processes have been instrumental in bringing about meaningful change and progress,” the RPMD citation said.

According to RPMD, Speaker Romualdez’ dedication to public service is further exemplified by his relentless pursuit of policies that benefit the Filipinos, particularly evident in his approach to tackling challenging issues with a strong political will and a clear vision for the future.

Meanwhile, RPMD cited the “unwavering dedication and the significant elevation” Rep. Romualdez has brought to the service and outreach of the party list in the country.

“Congresswoman Romualdez’s service extends far beyond the confines of traditional party-list representation.
