MANILA Mayor Honey Lacuna continued to distribute rent-to-own units on high-rise condominium by presenting to 20 awardees their Certificates of Award and symbolic key of the San Sebastian Residences yesterday morning.

Mayor Lacuna, Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto, and 3rd District Congressman Joel Chua led the inauguration of 20-storey San Sebastian Residences, which has 243 residential units, 57 parking slots, a health center, a police sub-station, admin office, and a lobby on the ground floor.

“Genuine dignity, hope, and social justice are what these modern high-rise residences represent to their future homeowners. Some of these homeowners today receive the symbolic keys to their new residences. It is with great pride that we are able to help them achieve their dreams of home ownership,” the mayor said during the interview.

Mayor Lacuna said the new residential towers are literal, concrete, and symbolic repudiation of the dishonest, deceptive, and deceitful housing program that gave rise to the Tondominiums of the former city chief executive.

“Our administration found ways to make the rent-to-own model happen. Those solutions are being rolled out now. Those solutions respect the dignity of Manilenos who have less in life,” the lady mayor added.

The San Sebastian Residences is located at Plaza del Carmen St., Quiapo, Manila. It is situated near historical churches like San Sebastian and Quiapo Church, reputable schools, markets, city hall, SM mall, and an 8-minute drive from Ospital ng Sampaloc.
