Robber in PNP uniform loots MLhuillier pawnshop in QC Flees with P2M cash, jewelry

A SUSPECTED robber clad in PNP uniform carted away more than P2 million worth of cash and jewelry from a pawnshop in Quezon City.

A report from the Talipapa Police Station showed the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on November 9, 2021 at the MLhuillier branch located along Tandang Sora Ave. , Brgy. Tandang Sora.

The branch manager of the said pawnshop told the police that the suspect arrived at the establishment at around 11 a.m. and informed the tellers that he was deployed to man the place.

The employees described the lone suspect as wearing a PNPfield service uniform. He was also wearing white gloves and was on board a blue AEROX motorcycle.

When the the tellers were about to close the branch at 4:30 p.m., the suspect suddenly entered the establishment.

He went straight to the teller’s booth and smashed the head of one of the employees with an unknown type of firearm.

The suspect then took cash worth around P600,00 and jewelries amounting to P1.4 million then escaped.
