Rep. Pammy Zamora gets overwhelming support from Taguig residents
CONGRESSWOMAN Amparo Maria “Pammy” Zamora, who is seeking reelection, has garnered significant backing from the residents of Taguig for the upcoming elections. This support is largely attributed to her ongoing initiatives that benefit the community, despite facing pressure from her political opponents and negative propaganda against her.
Concerned citizens of Taguig have voiced their apprehension over the unethical strategies employed by Zamora’s political adversaries aimed to tarnish her reputation, such as denying access to public facilities that could provide assistance to her constituents and undermining programs designed to support the community, particularly senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Rep. Zamora, running as an independent candidate for the 2nd district of Taguig, is the daughter of former legislator and ex-San Juan congressman Ronaldo “Ronnie” Zamora served in the government for four decades. She is recognized as one of the top-performing legislators in the National Capital Region.
Based on the RPMD Foundation Inc. (RPMD) and RPMD News Network Inc. (RPMD News) yearlong 2024 assessment of National Capital Region (NCR) House Representatives, Zamora is one of the top lawmakers that have demonstrated exceptional governance and leadership, excelling in legislative performance, effective representation, and public service initiatives.

The study was conducted under the ‘Kasama Tayo sa paglilingkod at mga programang ng gobyerno’ initiative, that measures the effectiveness of lawmakers based on district representation, legislative productivity, and constituent service.
The findings, which concluded in February 2025, underscore the commitment of top-performing legislators to their respective constituencies.
Representative Zamora is a genuine individual who genuinely cares for others, particularly the poor and disadvantaged, thanks to her proven dedication and hard work as a legislator.
Despite ongoing attacks from her opponents ahead of the upcoming May 2025 elections, Zamora remains unfazed by their tactics.
She is focused solely on her duty to serve her constituents who are counting on government assistance.
