Region 1 cops arrest drug target
POLICEMEN belonging to the Police Regional Office (PRO)-1 arrested a drug suspect in the Ilocos-Pangasinan region after the suspect sold shabu to an undercover officer in San Fernando City, La Union, PRO-1 director, Brigadier General Lou F. Evangelista said on Sunday.
The official described the suspect as a 53-year-old resident of Mabini, Batangas residing in Brgy. Madayegdeg, San Fernando City.
Recovered from the suspect were 30 grams of shabu worth P204,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, weighing scale and the buy bust money.
Evangelista said the San Fernando City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit led the operations.
