PSL: Nueva Ecija in easy win vs Bulacan
NUEVA Ecija Capitals hardly worked out a sweat in scoring a lopsided 109-67 victory over JT Taipan Toda Aksyon Bulacan in the Pilipinas Super League President’s Cup at the FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan last Saturday, Nov.25.
Five mainstays, led by Nat Cosejo, scored in double figures for the Capitals of well-known businessman-sportsman Bong Cuevas.
Cosejo finished with 16 points on an impressive 5-of-6 shooting, along with four rebounds and two assists in just 15 minutes of play under coach Jerson Cabiltes.
Jay Collado added 13 points and five rebounds, Will Mcaloney recorded 11 points and five rebounds and Kriss Kelly Gurtiza and Harvey Pagsanjan tallied 10 points each.
Byron Villarias and Billy Ray Robles contributed with eight points each.
Francisco Tancioco and Michael Are were the main men for Aksyon Bulacan team.
Tancioco tallied 13 points, Are contributed 11 points, five rebounds and five assists and Jonas Tibayan had 10 points.
