Kamara titiyakin na mapopondohan modernisasyon, welfare program ng AFP — Speaker Romualdez

TINIYAK ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez sa Philippine Air Force (PAF) at sa kabuuan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na sisiguruhin ng Kamara de Representantes na malalagyan ng pondo sa taunang budget ang modernisasyon at programa para sa kapakanan ng mga tauhan nito.

Ginawa ng lider ng Kamara de Representantes, na mayroong mahigit 300 kinatawan, ang pagtitiyak sa pagdiriwang ng ika-77 anibersayo ng PAF.

Sinamahan ni Speaker Romualdez sa event si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., na siyang guest of honor at speaker sa pagdiriwang.

Ayon kay Speaker Romualdez, kaisa ang Kamara sa pagnanais ni Pangulong Marcos na mapalakas ang kakayanan ng sandatahang lakas.

“We are committed to providing the necessary legislative support to ensure that the modernization programs and welfare initiatives for our armed forces are fully funded and effectively implemented,” ani Speaker Romualdez.

“We will continue to work on policies that enhance our defense capabilities, improve the conditions of service for our soldiers, and ensure that the Philippines remains safe and secure,” dagdag pa nito.

Binigyang-diin ni Speaker Romualdez ang kahalagahan na mapalakas ang kakayanan ng armed forces upang magawa nito ng mahusay ang kanilang mandato. Upang magawa ito, sinabi ng lider ng Kamara na kakailanganin na matiyak ang mga programa.

“We recognize that in this ever-evolving world, our security apparatus must be dynamic, robust, and forward-looking. The administration has thus embarked on a comprehensive modernization program aimed at upgrading our defense systems and ensuring that our armed forces are equipped with the latest technology and resources necessary to meet the challenges of the modern battlefield,” giit pa nito.

“These advancements are not merely for show; they are essential tools that enable our air force to execute its mandate with greater efficiency and effectiveness. They are a testament to our unwavering resolve to safeguard our nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” saad pa ng lider ng Kamara.

Bukod sa mga armas, sinabi ni Speaker Romualdez na dapat ding pangalagaan ang kakayanan ng mga sundalo at kanilang pamilya.

“Recognizing the immense sacrifices you make, the administration has implemented various programs aimed at improving your living conditions, providing comprehensive health care, and ensuring that your families are well-supported. These measures are in place to ensure that you can perform your duties with peace of mind, knowing that your loved ones are taken care of,” sabi pa nito.

Nagpasalamat ang lider ng Kamara sa mga tauhan ng Air Force sa kanilang dedikasyon, katapangan at pangako na pangangalagaan ang seguridad ng bansa.

“The bravery and gallantry of our air force personnel in protecting our territory and sovereign rights cannot be overstated. Your relentless patrols, swift responses to threats, and tireless efforts in various operations demonstrate a level of dedication and professionalism that serves as an inspiration to all Filipinos. Your actions are a vital line of defense against those who seek to undermine our nation’s peace and security,” sabi pa nito.

Kinilala rin ni Speaker Romualdez ang partisipasyon ng PAF sa humanitarian at disaster response operations.

“Your swift and efficient actions during calamities have saved countless lives and provided critical support to communities in distress. These efforts highlight not only your versatility but also your deep commitment to serving the Filipino people in their times of greatest need,” sabi nito.

“Rest assured, the administration and the Filipino people stand firmly behind you, ready to support and uplift you as you continue to protect and serve our country,” dagdag pa ni Speaker Romualdez.
