PINOY Ako Partylist has launched its “Docs on Wheels” program aimed at providing medical services to indigenous communities and remote areas through a Mobile Medical Clinic as part of its continuing mission to help the less fortunate Filipinos in far flung areas.

In a campaign sortie held in Morong, Rizal, the initiative was introduced as a concrete response to the long-standing lack of access to health in the mountains where hundreds of Filipino families, not only indigenous tribes but to poor families living in mountainous areas.

“The primary objective of this program is to deliver sufficient and contemporary healthcare services to indigenous populations who are not receiving any support from the government,” Pinoy Ako Partylist#99 said.

The only partylist advocating for the welfare of indigenous peoples, the Pinoy Ako stated that the program is very important given the government’s shortcomings in providing adequate health facilities for these communities.

“By addressing this gap, the program seeks to ensure that indigenous individuals have access to the medical care they need and deserve,” the partylist added.

The program aims to use specially designed vans equipped with doctors, nurses, and medical equipment to deliver free check-ups, minor treatments, and basic laboratory procedures to communities that are hard to reach by public services.

Docs on Wheels” is part of the Pinoy Ako Partylist’s broader mission to bring basic services closer to communities that are often left on the fringes of society, including indigenous groups who have long lacked regular access to doctors or health facilities.

The project will be implemented in collaboration with local health units, barangay health workers, and volunteer medical professionals, to ensure a continuous and systematic flow of services in each area.

Apart from routine consultations, the plan also includes the provision of free medicines, vitamins, child immunization, maternal care, and information drives on preventive healthcare.

A top priority of the Pinoy Ako Partylist is reaching out to different regions in the country to demonstrate the importance of this program and expand the reach of communities that will benefit, especially indigenous people and those in remote areas who have long been deprived of medical services.

“When it seems like no one is available to help, Pinoy Ako Partylist is always prepared to assist. We don’t just make promises—we take action and provide genuine solutions! Through our Mobile Medical Clinic, we bring healthcare to areas that are often neglected,” the partylist added.

“This is our way of ensuring that everyone receives the support they require, regardless of how remote or challenging the location may be. We don’t merely provide help—we offer hope and compassion. With us by your side, you can be confident that you’re not facing your struggles alone! We’re not just here—we’re here for you!” Pinoy ako partylist vowed.
