TARGET ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na palalimin pa ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Pahayag ito ni Pangulong Marcos nang mag-courtesy call sa Malakanyang si His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs ng UAE.

“We’re very happy to see you here. We thank you for finding the time to visit with us.

We have built a very close relationship with the UAE and we hope that we will continue in that pattern. Let’s continue to…also we owe you many expressions of gratitude for all the assistance and the kindness that UAE has extended to the Philippines and the Filipinos,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.

“And I hope that we are able to reciprocate somehow because we are very grateful for the assistance that you have done in terms of our crisis in the Philippines and then, especially to our Filipino nationals who are working in the Emirates.

We extend that relationship further and make it deeper,” pahayag ng Pangulo.

Sinabi naman ng opisyal ng UAE na karangalan ang makabalik sa Pilipinas makalipas ang 14 taon.

“Our relationship is growing, but not enough. We could do much better. It could be much better because I think we have an interest to further enhance it.

But also the Philippines has shown that it’s been welcoming investors, we would like to do more trade, and to finalize and sit down with the Philippines.

And finally I would say Sir when the Emiratis when they come to the Philippines they never feel leaving here.

You really make them feel at home. So thank you very much,” pahayag ng Sheikh.
