PDEA smashes 2 drug dens in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Anti-drug operatives on Monday dismantled two suspected drug dens and arrested 13 suspects in separate operations in the city.
The first operation was launched on Roxas Street, Bgy. Dau that led to the arrest of eight drug suspects identified as David Hernan alias “Jon Jon,” 36; China Bañar, 42; Berna Dicto, 29; Mike Aro, 42; Melvin Marcelo, 31; Jon-Jon Bais, 36; Rodney Cariño, 42; and Mercedes Lagrimas, 36.
The second sting was conducted on the same street,where five drug suspects were nabbed namely Edsel Galang alias “Bruce,” 50; Maria Hilda Permites, 41; Gemma Gopez, 45; Ace Vital, 34; and Ericson Miranda, 34.
The two operations yielded more or less 27 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P186,300, assorted drug paraphernalias and the marked money.
Members of the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and the PDEA-3 Special Enforcement Section launched the entrapments.
All suspects were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
