PDEA cops seize P27M shabu in Zambo
AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) seized more than four kilograms of suspected shabu valued at around P27.2 million in an anti-narcotics drive in Zamboanga City last Wednesday, PDEA chair Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo said.
A buy-bust in Purok 11, Acacia, Brgy. Calarian also resulted in the arrest of four top drug targets in Western Mindanao after they conspired to sell the drugs to an undercover officer.
The buy-bust money was recovered from the accused. The four arrested were identified as Nadzmar Abdul, 38; Wajil Jala, 31, Ben Basaluddin, 33; and Noralyn Abdul, 38.
The four will be facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of prohibited drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
