SAN Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Regional Peace and Order Council of Metro Manila.

The Council held its first quarter meeting for 2023 yesterday at the Danilo Lim Conference Room, 19th Floor, MMDA New Building in Pasig City.

The appointment was approved and signed by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr.

Ito ay bahagi ng aming buhay araw-araw,” the newly appointed RPOC Chairman said in his statement at the RPOC Meeting.

Aside from being Mayor of San Juan City and the new Chairman of the RPOC of NCR, Mayor Zamora is also the Vice Chairman of the Regional Development Council of NCR and President of the Metro Manila Council.

DILG Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. administered the oath of Mayor Zamora as Chairman of the RPOC.
