Pawchester owner wants to collaborate with Heart Evangelista

PET lovers who are looking for a place where they can feel the comfort while their fur babies are enjoying themselves should head out to Greenhills in San Juan. The place is called Pawchester, located at the 5th level of Greenhills Mall and it’s where your pets are going to experience topnotch pampering, where perhaps they could feel just like their human companions.
Owner Maine Uy-Jainani says Pawchester is a play on the famous London hospitality brand, The Dorchester, and as a pet lover herself, she knows that these fur babies would love to be pampered after a rough play, or even just a brisk walk. “I stayed in London for a year. I studied my Master’s there with Sotheby’s Luxury Business,” reveals Maine. “And then of course I had a chance to go around and my most favorite leisure time was actually going to Mayfair. And Mayfair has a lot of …discreet genteel five star hotels…And I would always think na, how can we create something like this. And I will always thought nga pagdating dito sa Manila… So, I wanted to create something fun [and] different… but for pets naman,”
And so, Pawchester came into place, Mainly, it’s for pets where they’re in for bath and dry, nail clipping and filing, fur and face trim, ear cleaning, trim/shave of sanitary areas with five minutes of massage, with prices depending on your dog’s sizes.
As part of her advocacy, Maine wants Pawchester to be synonymous with caring for animals. This is the reason why she wants to collaborate with actress Heart Evangelista. “We want to work with someone like Heart, who embodies the love and care for pets that we are so passionate about. Heart’s genuine affection for pets aligns with our vision of providing a luxurious and caring space for furbabies.”
The first of its kind, Maine has plans to expand the brand. “We’re always working on improving our user experience, especially in grooming and pet care,” she says.
Pawchester opened in November last year and she wants more awareness this year and the years to come. “We want to give pet owners a space that feels like a luxury hotel for their pets. In the future, we plan to introduce pet boarding services,” she enthuses.
