IN an effort to minimize the number of cases of dengue, especially this coming rainy season, the Pasay city government installed an anti-dengue net in public school classrooms.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano personally inspected several public schools yesterday morning and installed Olyset Net, a long-lasting insecticidal net using hybrid polymer, on the classroom windows which is one of the preventive measures being implemented by the city government to combat dengue fever.

The mayor said they already installed anti-dengue net to a total of 1,431 classrooms and only six public schools were left or have not been equipped with Olysen net.

She also ordered the serious implementation of the 4 O’clock Habit program of the Department of Health (DoH) to suppress dengue within the community.
