GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – The traditional “Pabinyagan ng Alagang Hayop” or more locally known as “Pabialahay” is being brought back again on October 1, 2022, in front of the historic church of St. Francis of Assisi in the town square to be done after the morning mass led by Rev. Fr. Oliver Genuino, parish priest of the said parish.

The annual blessing of the pets of the residents here did not take place for two years due to the entry of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

In cooperation with the local government here, led by Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, and City Agriculture Office under Neri Marquez will conduct anti-rabies vaccination for all pets right after the pet blessing.

While the “Fiesta Karakol” is scheduled on October 2, 1:00 p.m. after the 12:00 noon mass will be held in the town proper with the city’s local leaders.

Feast Day Misa Concelebrada with Imus Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista is scheduled on October 4, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., and a procession right after the mass.

The fiesta day mass schedules are 6:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., while the mass baptism will be at 11:00 a.m.

The grand procession for the feast day celebration will be on October 5, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. The fiesta opening salvo motorcade will be held on September 24, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. – Novena Mayor will be held from September 25 to October 3, 2022.
