NOVELETA, Cavite – What was supposed to be a fun outing of friends turned into a tragedy after a man drowned while he was swimming with friends and relatives at a beach resort in Barangay San Rafael 4 here, Sunday, October 23, 2022

During the investigation by Police Sergeant Armine Matro, at 4:00 p.m., the victim’s body was discovered floating and lifeless.

According to probers, a witness said they were having an outing with friends and some family members in the beach resort in Noveleta Cavite.

After a while, they noticed that the victim did not come up or was missing after swimming on the beach.

They spotted the victim floating and immediately picked him up and gave him first aid before rushing him to the hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.
