EVEN after winning five games in a row, Nueva Ecija Capitals and coach Jerson Cabiltes know they have not yet reach their full potentials in the Pilipinas Super League (PSL) President’s Cup.

With a mix of veterans and young players, Cabiltes hopes to continue bring out the best in them as they prepare for the tough grind ahead.

Cabiltes said he is giving his players the much-needed enough exposure and get them ready for the big games.

“I’m giving everybody a chance to get a feel of the ball game. And I’m trying different combinations each game,” said Cabiltes on the eve of the Capitals’ game against CV Siniloan on Thursday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

“So that when the times comes na may malakas kaming kalaban, ready na kung sino magkaka-sabay sa court.”

The Capitals of businessman- sportsman Bong Cuevas are gunning for their sixth straight win and a perfect record during the 8 p.m. game.
