Michelle handang handa na para sa Miss Universe
NGAYONG October 31 na ang lipad ni Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee for El Salvador para sa 72nd Miss Universe pageant.
Handa na raw si Michelle na lumaban para sa korona.
“Personally, I am in my core, mind and body, prepared. I believe everything in life is your destiny, it’s what’s meant to happen for you.“
Pinasalamatan ni Michelle ang Miss Universe Philippines Organization para sa pagbibigay sa kanya ng creative freedom to execute her vision for the competition.
“I am such a creative at heart, I always have a vision on how I want a story to be told. So I’m very grateful to the organization for giving me that freedom.
“Not only does it represent my personality better, but I really feel that it can empower so many people around me, to realize that you don’t have to fit into a stereotype to be a beauty queen. Of course, the times are changing, the world is progressing.
“I hope a mere gesture of cutting my hair will stay true to my identity. I hope that sends a positive message not just to myself but to everyone.”
Nanette di makalimutan si FPJ
INALALA ng dating aktres na si Nanette Medved ang namayapang Da King of Philippine Movies na si Fernando Poe Jr. na ilang beses niyang nakatambal sa pelikula.
Isa sa pelikulang hindi malilimutan ni Nanette ay ang “Dito sa Pitong Gatang,” na siya ang leading lady ni FPJ.
“I subsequently did two more movies with him, but I loved my time, any time I’m spending with FPJ is just golden. I love the man. He was a complete gentleman, larger than life personality, just really amazing,” sey ni Nanette.
Ikinuwento rin ni Nanette na bumalik siya sa Pilipinas noon mula sa Hong Kong para gumawa lang ng pelikula kasama muli si FPJ.
“I came back and said, ‘Ronnie, I only came back for you,’ and I did because he is just such an amazing man. I feel really bad that we’ve lost him, but he is incredible.”
Pumanaw si FPJ noong 2004.
Noong 2011, itinatag ni Nanette ang Friends of HOPE, Inc., isang non-profit organization para sa education, agricultural initiatives, at carbon sequestration sa Pilipinas.
Ang proceeds mula sa Generation HOPE ay ginagamit sa pagpapatayo ng mga public school classrooms sa Pilipinas.
Vina nagliliwaliw muna sa New York
PAGKATAPOS ng kanyang limited engagement sa hit Broadway musical na “Here Lies Love,” kasalukuyang nagliliwaliw si Vina Morales sa New York City.
Post niya sa social media: “Exploring American Museum of Natural History. Our natural world, and the known universe.”
Proud si Vina sa pagganap niya bilang si Aurora Aquino sa “Here Lies Love” on Broadway na unang ginampanan ni Lea Salonga noong magbukas ang naturang all- Filipino musical cast noong June.
