MIAA keeps guard up against new viruses threat
A CONCERNED Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) advised travelers to wear facemasks while insidevthe country’s airports.
MIAA spokesperson Atty. Chris Bendijo cited reports on new viruses coming from Japan.
Passengers are also reminded to sanitize hands and cover mouth and nose whwn sneezing.
MIAA has asked the Department of Health to station at the airport personnel who will monitor arrivals from abroad.
The DOH was also asked to inform MIAA of active cases so it can take measures to prevent contamination. By Joseph Muego
